Currently I am working at a Miami based startup whose objective is to make small/independent trucker companies stay competitive among their more established/bigger competition. – Developed forecasting models using BQML. Reduced training time from 8 hours to 2 hours and achieved a better fit in data. – Improved existing load classification XGBoost model. Boosted up test AUC to 0.93 from 0.83 on test data.

Worked at the Restaurants vertical at Rappi where I am charged with data‑related processes (ETLs) as well as microservices at a Latin American level related to restaurant lead hunting. I also worked with a machine learning engineering team in developing a restaurant recommender system, where we achieved a 15% lift in ads revenue.

My role revolved around the ingestion/processing of data via ETLs and ELTs in order to create descriptive dashboards that give valuable insights to clients.
