our company is trying to switch from php based pages to javascript frameworks, and we've come across gatsby to make fast websites. Right now, we have an issue where we have to manually trigger a gatsby build everytime we edit the content in our headless cms, which is storyblok.

Storyblok only features tutorials with cloud-hosting solutions like vercel or netlify, there is no documentation for a building webhook on publish for frontend self-hosting.

I've already tried the following approaches:

• Building a microservice via express, which launches a child process which executes the gatsby build. This resulted in not returning anything, I gave up after an hour of trying.
• Using the "gatsby-plugin-trigger-deploy" plugin, which seems to do the exact same thing I've been trying for an hour, but i run into the same issue as this guy does: https://github.com/RoySegall/gatsby-plugin-trigger-deploy/issues/2
• Building a webhook.php which executes a shell script that runs gatsby build, surprisingly this worked for one single build, then it stuck on telling me that for whatever reason it can't find node, even when running "node -v" nothing seems to be installed. Note that i can still run gatsby commands, npm & node commands via the cli.
