how to calculate area from coordinate points in 3D coordinate system using javascript? let's say i have this coordinate points

var points = [
    [-1,-1,0], [-1,-1,0], [1,1,0], [1,-1,0], 
    [-1,-1,1], [-1,1,1], [1,1,1], [1,-1,1] 
];

i've seen for example in python we can use scipy.spatial.convexHull library to calculate the area. But how to perform this task in javascript? i've seen this post too that can perform the volume calculation, now i need an algorithm or library to perform area calculation. thanks in advance
