¿Alguien ha conseguido que Ruby 1.8.7 funcione en Monterey con RVM?

Probé todas las soluciones reportadas y nada parece funcionar para mí. Sé que 1.8.7 está totalmente en desuso y no es compatible, pero todavía hay muchos en esta versión.

Versión de RVM: rvm 1.29.12 (última) Versión de Gem: 3.2.3

El último que intenté fue:
