I have experience with using MVC as the frontend (with JS/JQuery) and middleware to authenticate web apps with SAML, and then talking to the ASP.NET (SVC) backend for web service calls. However, I'd like to move to React as the frontend. I noticed React works best with Node.JS, but I'd like to keep the ASP.NET as the backend for the web service calls.

Can someone point me into the right direction on how to set up React as the front-end, Node.JS as the middleware (with SAML authentication), and then ASP.NET for the web service calls?
