I select my line like this:

currentFile.editor.setSelection({startColumn: column, endColumn: column, startLineNumber: line, endLineNumber: line});

this works, but just before I call this function I add a class to an unrelated element, but this class gets removed as soon as the function that goes to a line gets called (Nothing else in my code interacts with that class or removes multiple classes).

I have no clue why this is happening
