I just want to confirm that there is no 'pure Angular' way of creating a non-modal pop-up window in which I can specify 'no toolbars', "width = x", "height = y", etc. And that can be moved around outside of the browser window I am currently in.

I have read many posts here, all of which suggest different forms of either:

• Router.navigate...
• Window.open()
• <a> tag with target="_blank"
• Or: Angular modal

All of these I have a problem with as I'm trying to replace a window.open() call in my Angular app and I need the Angular version to behave in the same way. But, being an SPA, I assume the app can only work with the DOM that is in the browser window it is working in. Am I wrong?
