VistasScript de Photoshop: transforme una selección rectangular en una ovalada
Tengo un problema que no puedo resolver.
Tengo una selección rectangular (no importa el tamaño) que necesito transformar a elíptica con un script.
Me gustaría que la selección elíptica tuviera el mismo tamaño y posición que la rectangular.
Logré armar este script:

El script crea una selección elíptica con los mismos límites que la selección rectangular existente.
El problema es que la medida final es demasiado pequeña y se movió fuera de los bordes del documento.
Ya intenté convertir el documento a 72 DPI sin volver a muestrear, pero aún no me da el tamaño correcto.

¿Alguien tiene alguna idea?

Esto es demasiado largo y feo, pero cambiará su selección a una elipse:

Intenté descomprimir tu código pero fue en vano. Sin embargo, noté que charIDToTypeID no eran cuatro letras. es decir, "la parte superior debería ser "Superior", "la parte inferior debería ser "Btom", pero es posible que Adobe haya cambiado eso.
