Is there a way to catch 403 incase of expired token?

I have tried retryplaylist, but I do not see the HTTP code..

video.js warning VIDEOJS: WARN: Problem encountered with playlist 0-https://xxxx.m3u8. Trying again since it is the only playlist.

player.tech_.on('retryplaylist', (e) => {
    console.log(e); // no http code
});

because that event will be thrown in case of a slow network too

what do I have to do to catch the specific 403 error?
