I would like to create a journal / game (pixel engine; paint-like).

I would like the database to be on the HTML page.

I would like the page to dynamically update client-side.

The goal here is to have a single index.html file that does it all; accessible to all.

I am just statically adding things when i commit the newly updated HTML.
