I have created a function, which can POST a webhook on Trello. The webhook is created succesfully, but I do not know how to store the json payload sent back by Trello, whenever the webhook is triggered. How do I get this data and potentially store it in my program?
function getApiData(url, restVar, name, bodyData) {
console.log(`url:`, url);
if (restVar === `GET`) {
return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
console.log(`Get:`, name);
fetch(`${url}`, {
method: `${restVar}`,
headers: {
'Content-Type': 'application/json'
},
})
.then(response => response.json())
.then(data => {
console.log('Success:', data);
resolve(data)
})
.catch((error) => {
console.error('Error:', error)
reject(error);
})
});
}
else if (restVar != `GET`) {
return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
console.log(name)
bodyData = JSON.stringify(bodyData);
fetch(`${url}`, {
method: `${restVar}`,
headers: {
'Content-Type': 'application/json'
},
body: bodyData
})
.then(response => response.json())
.then(data => {
console.log('Success:', data);
resolve(data)
})
.catch((error) => {
console.error('Error:', error)
reject(error);
})
});
}
}
I am quite new to webhooks and web development in general. Any help is much appreciated. Have a great day! :D
