How do I find what java class is being called in a spring app from the HTML/javascript

I'm building a REST API and part of that is copying jobs/tasks that the UI does. And sometimes I have to investigate in chrome dev tools what *.form it's calling when I click a button or open an iframe enter some info and click a button. Most of the time the naming conventions are the same like node_edit.form will point to NodeEditController.java, but it's not always easy to pinpoint where it's going so I can see the code or put a breakpoint.

There is a servlet.xml, that I can see that has some connections, but some of these web pages have 50+ *.forms so i'm looking for a way to pinpoint it.

Is there an easy way to see where the javascript/html is pointing to in the spring/java code?

Notes: I'm familiar with java/spring, but have very little experience with javascript/html. I'm using IntelliJ
