I've been trying to figure out how I get the start/end values in Highcharts when zooming or using the timeline navigator, I've stumbled upon this Question which shows how to get the min/max values in the selection event which is nice, but that's not the values I need and I cant seem to find any of the data needed in the selection

I've been able to grab the values from the series data in the load event like so:

events: {
    load: (function (self) {
        return function () {
            self.chart = this;
            var firstValue =
                this.series[0].processedYData[0];

            var endValue =
                this.series[0].processedYData[
                    this.series[0].processedYData.length - 1
                ];
        };
    })(this),
},

But that dataset is not anywhere to be found in the selection event? Is it really not possible to grab the start/end values when zooming with either the selection or the timeline navigator?
