Unit Testing transpiled JavaScript files

Documentation I've found online for Unit Testing JavaScript, tends to involve using Webpack or other build tools that integrates at transpile time of JavaScript files. Normally this is fine and I do this with other projects. In the case of this question, the build stack which is used has preconfigured transpiling that we are unable to modify per project. This means I cannot hook into the transpile process to Unit test the code.

Instead, what I'd like to do, is point a Unit test project at the transpiled code and run unit tests against that. I respect it would have to be manually triggered to test and wouldn't run at build time, but it would at least give code confidence.

Has anyone achieved such a thing or know how to achieve it? I'm not tied to a JavaScript unit test framework so if there's one that does it best please say.
