I have an input for capturing image from the smartphone camera like this below:

<input ng-model="fileModel" type="file" name="input_default" accept="image/*;capture=camera"
 capture="camera" capture />

If there is no camera on the installed smartphone, the input opens the cell phone gallery. I wanted the user to be alerted that it doesn't have a camera and to not open the device gallery.

I tried this way below, but it didn't work.

var el = document.createElement('input');
if(el.capture == undefined){
   // display message user
} else{
   // open the camera normally on the device
}

Is it possible to BLOCK the smartphone from opening gallery using Javascript?
