Si está buscando un valor específico, no necesita la función de map , puede resolverlo con find .

 const result = alphabet_num.alphabet.find( (_letter, i) => parseInt(alphabet_num.start[i]) <= xValue && xValue <= parseInt(alphabet_num.end[i]) );
