am having a problem with EDGE in Compatiblity mode (IE11) where a bookmarklet is not executed.

Browser: MS Edge in Compatibility mode IE11 (not interchangeable with other browser)

Bookmarklet:

javascript: {window.alert("Hello World")}

How to reproduce (setting a website on EDGE Compatiblity mode IE11):

• on EDGE browser: go to settings > default browser > "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode" > allow > restart browser
• navigate to any website
• open menu via three vertical dots > "reload in internet explorer mode"
• click the bookmarklet i provided above (= add the sourcecode as url to a new bookmark (Click))

This happens:

—> Are you sure you want to leave this page?

Upon clicking "Leave this page"

—> js source code in url bar

Any idea how to make it execute the code instead of navigating to it? Thanks a lot in advance!
