😊 The role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate DevOps Engineer to work hand-in-hand with the engineering team to build systems that are more efficient, perform better, and deliver more consistently. You will be responsible for building a cloud infrastructure that supports business and technical requirements, and improving the scalability, availability, and efficiency of our systems. You will build and maintain the Bankuish DevOps stack, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, application and cloud monitoring, and security. The role will require hands-on experience with GCP and distributed serverless architectures.

👍 Skills required:

Understanding of the GCP architecture. Ideally you have a deep understanding of GCP; otherwise, you are eager to learn and have experience with AWS.
Experience operating and optimizing user-facing back-end services in containerized environments (IE: Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes)
Previous experience using Terraform
Proficient with CI/CD software such as Gitlab
CD/CI test automation
Proficient with provisioning automated environments
Intermediate / Advanced English

Experience using GoLang
Experience configuring and maintaining databases and using SQL
