I'm using windows 10, IDE: Visual Studio Code. My default app is set to chrome and I have this code in the footer of my website that is written so that viewers can contact me by clicking on it. I don't understand why is it not doing anything but just reloading the page when it is clicked. I want it to redirect the viewer to the mailbox so they can mail me. Now clicking on this link just reloads the page and does nothing else. What is the reason for this behavior and how can I tackle this problem or whatever natural reaction is needed to make this link work as I originally require?
