I installed Vue 3 using npm install vue@next and wanted to use it in my App.

index.js

import { createApp } from 'vue';

const app = createApp({
    data() {
        return {
           name: 'World',
        }
    }
});

app.mount('#app');

index.html

<!-- Mounting Point -->
<div id="app">
    <h1>Hello {{ name }}</h1>
</div>
<script src="./index.js"></script>

Output when starting HTML file -> Hello {{ name }}

Expected Output -> Hello World

Question: Why does this not work?
