I'm attempting to make a custom version (fork) of Microsoft's PXT (Makecode), and it's working pretty well, except for one issue:

After fresh install + npm install, it builds perfectly (via npm run build). After one more time (and from there forwards), I get the following:

  const config = configFactory(webpackEnv);

TypeError: configFactory is not a function

if I open up that file, sure enough I see const config = configFactory(webpackEnv);, but right above it (on line 6 to be exact) shows const configFactory = require('../config/webpack.config.base');, meaning that configFactory should have been defined. Why might this be happening, and what can I do to fix it?

I did try 2 things, both of which did not work out:

1. I disabled my TSConfig's "strict", but that only effects .d.ts files (type declarations), and not actual TS files.
2. adding node_modules to the TSConfig's exclude section, to attempt to get typescript not to check them. This had no success either.
