On a successful preflight and subsequent PUT response with changes, I am able to update current state. However, on requesting updated content from the backend, I receive content prior to making the change.

I have tried doing the following:

From localhost to a secure server api. (cross-origin)

In the preflight request, the response headers from the server are as follows:

access-control-allow-headers: accept, accept-encoding, authorization, content-type, dnt, origin, user-agent, x-csrftoken, x-requested-with access-control-allow-methods: DELETE, GET, OPTIONS, PATCH, POST, PUT access-control-allow-origin: *

And the subsequent PUT request receives a 200 status, and in the response I am able to receive json response to the changes I have submitted. And I am able to update current state with new information.

At the backend there is no sign of this update. I am expecting changes in the backend with the updated content, but there is no update

From the web app (same-site-origin)

The behavior is the exact same.

In postman the PUT request works fine
