I'm working on a project that includes working on an existing excel file and adding data into it, the excel file has merged fields. I need to insert an empty row in between the rows, I saw there was and issue without exceljs when using splice and merged fileds. What happens with my file when i use splice is that all the merges get removed and the formatting is ruined.

is there a patch or some kind of update for the exceljs, because if I need to use another library it will take a lot of time to redo the entire code.

if there isn't any solution could someone more experienced recommend a library the doesn't have this issue.
