"Element type invalid" when trying to install material ui on next.js project

Hi i am adding Material UI to Next.js. I followed the example from the Next Js git hub along with a youtube tutorial. The error im getting is ....

Error: Element type is invalid: expected a string (for built-in components) or a class/function (for composite components) but got: undefined. You likely forgot to export your component from the file it's defined in, or you might have mixed up default and named imports.

And here is the code from the _document.js

It has now been resolved. Although the error was showing on the app.js page it was fixed by removing brackets from {link} import on my index page.
