Tengo un problema con una solicitud ajax, este es el script:

mientras que en php tengo esto, solo para probar:

 $dt = trim($_POST["val"]); echo $dt;

pero me da error Warining Undefined array 'val' ¿alguien puede ayudarme gracias estoy atascado
