I'm new to jquery, and trying to explore more by doing simple project. I'm trying to get title and meta tags of an external website using jquery. I didn't work on the code but searching on the Internet to find one. Many similar questions, which were asked years back on stackoverflow, had answers that it's not possible because of cross origin issues, CORS, SSR etc.

Now, Many years later, Is it possible to get title and meta tags using jquery/ajax? I'm finding very few answers about this on internet, so could anyone help me. If it's not possible due to CORS, then how could many websites like en. rakko. tools extract page title, and description using ajax? As I'm new to jquery, I'm unable to understand the source code of above site.
