I have:

• an old program that use old site API with wrong URL: {site}//api/ and don't catch redirects, showing 301 redirect page instead of following
• the new site based on Laravel that has the same API at {site}/api

I could make redirect in Apache but it doesn't solve the problem. Moreover, Apache itself already make such a redirect because of trailing slash.

Do you know any way to make Laravel get this wrong URL and work with it the right way, as if it is /api?
