i am searching for a way, to collect images from whatsapp and store them automatically on a webserver. I thought about a view solutions, but my knowledge about IT isnt big enough to find a good solution.

Maybe i could use an old smartphone as server, and stay connected to the internet via wifi to usy a raspberry pi as client and open whatsapp web. But i wanna use only one device (if possible). I tought, i could install whatsapp on raspbian but then something about ARM architecture and here ends my knowledge.

Is there a way/sandbox i can install apk files on raspbian? Can i install an apache/php server on a smartphone? Maybe i can buy another single board computer which can run apache,php and whatsapp?

I know about some google services using whatsapp but i am out if detail, i am sorry.
