Using a Reverse Proxy With An LMS "Odoo". Breaks in Domain but works in localhost

I have set up Odoo (14.0) an LMS that uses Python3, and have it running perfectly on localhost on a linux remote server. Since it is running locally I wanted to set a reverse proxy and use a domain to allow others to view it.

However, when I set up a reverse proxy with Apache for a domain it seems that nothing works on the domain, while still working fine on localhost.

Firstly I have to add a "/web" at the end of the normal url to even get the login forms to appear. Once I have logged in and navigated to "my website" everything shows up looking very off as if the theme is broken, and it looks extremely different in comparison to localhost (pictures below of comparison). Any links I click on simply add a "/#" to the end of my url without bringing me anywhere or changing anything.

Here is what my apache file looks like:

<VirtualHost *:80>
            ServerAdmin xxx
            ServerName  xxxx

            ProxyHTMLStripComments on
            ProxyRequests off
            SetOutputFilter proxy-html
            ProxyHTMLDoctype XHTML
            ProxyPreserveHost On
            SSLProxyEngine on

            # Odoo defaults to port 8069
            ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:8069/
            ProxyPassReverse / http://127.0.0.1:8069/
            <Proxy *>
                    Order allow,deny
                    Allow from all
            </Proxy>

            ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/xxx-error.log

            # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit,
            # alert, emerg.
            LogLevel warn

            CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/xxx-access.log combined

</VirtualHost>

This is what my Odoo.conf file looks like. I recently added "proxy_mode = true" to see if that may fix it:

[options]
; This is the password that allows database operations:
; admin_passwd = admin
db_host = False
db_port = False
db_user = odoo
db_password = False
;addons_path = /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/odoo/addons
proxy_mode = true

I am a little new to using apache so any help would be greatly appreciated!
