I'm making a website so that when you go through it you discover buttons that unlock more on a navigation bar on the left, separated by frames. The language I'm using/well versed in is HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

So, let's say for example the main page has a button that changes the innerhtml of the navigation bar (that's a separate page via frameset). The thing we want to change is a plain text that goes hidden, and then an <a href> leading to the next page. When you click on it, one of the navigation bar's options will be available.
