I am currently a computer science student and I would need help with my project which consists of the title I stated above.

I need to use Javascript to do this and I have no idea how to start. Despite this I already have some ideas in mind.

I need to develop a firefox add-on module where each node of the discussion will display the text, the name of the user and will propose a link that will allow to answer the chosen answer in the forum in question, a display that can be refreshed on demand, the possibility to implement a save function of the visualization in PDF in order to obtain traces/archives on what has been done that makes the forum being used And an activation of the plugin from the Firefox module bar (launch the visualisation from the icon). And then I need to implement adding a small icon in a fragment of the question or answer to view only a desired part.

I would like to be able to do this without external libraries or anything else but I don't know if this is possible
