In my react application an API gets stuck with timing as pending and size zero. I do not see any response data as well. The same API works fine for multiple times before it randomly gets stuck. This is happening to me for chrome as well as Edge browser. Additionally on Edge browser I get the This page is not responding dialog.

I have been debugging this issue for multiple days and from logs it seems that server has responded with data but it's not coming on UI. Any pointers/help would be hugely appreciated.
