I am trying to use geo-fire lib from this github repo ( https://github.com/tobias74/geofire-js/tree/upgrade-to-v9-modular) as the source lib is not supporting firebase 9 but I keep getting this error

Error: Error parsing triggers: Cannot find module 'geofire-wrapper'

when deploying the function to firebase. This is how I am trying to use

var GeoFire = require('geofire-wrapper');

I installed the lib in functions folder and also see it exists in package.json. Not able to figure what's causing the error.
