About the Role:

We write software from the ground up. We are currently building a new system for the construction industry.

As Senior Software Engineer, you will define, design, and deliver the next stage of an enterprise software solution. The goal of the system is to efficiently automatization the process of the construction projects. To design the new system, we are applying a combination of PHP and Javascript design approaches, Machine Learning, Distributed Computing, Workflow engines, Algorithm Optimization, and many more.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Collaborate with the team on building a highly scalable and high-performance search stack
Write, maintain, and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems & develop solutions to help Hippo.build grow
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to implement technical designs
Improve system quality by identifying issues and common software patterns

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Expertise in PHP with Laravel or Symfony
Experience with third-party integrations, webhooks, etc
Experience with SQL PostgreSQL
Experience with REST API’s Development
TDD, code reviews, deployment process, design documentation
