si la mutación no es un problema, entonces puede eliminar la matriz inicial hasta que los mueva 3 por 3 a uno nuevo.

 const items = ['red', 'blue', 'green', 'small', 'medium', 'large']; let itemList = []; while (items.length > 0) { itemList.push(items.splice(0, 3)) }
