How can I automate the install of this TinyMCE plugin? (GiphyMovableType)

I am trying to automate the install of this TinyMCE plugin. It is called GiphyMovableType and basically just provides the classic Giphy experience within the TinyMCE editor. According to the plugin's GitHub page (https://github.com/Giphy/GiphyMovableType) I have to manually copy the plugin into the TinyMCE directory which is located in my node_modules folder as TinyMCE is a standard npm package and is installed accordingly so. I want to include this Giphy plugin but I'm not sure how to automate it / define it in package.json as I don't think it is a node module (https://github.com/Giphy/GiphyMovableType).

Installation instructions of the plugin according to the readme:

  1. copy the 'GiphyType' directory to your root moveable type directory.
  2. go to your admin and enable the GiphyType plugin in the Moveable Type plugins admin.
  3. once the plugin is enabled you should see the Giphy logo in your tinymce editor rich-text editor panel!

I am not really concerned with steps 2 and 3 here. I mostly just want to automate the first step. My "root movable type directory" (step 1) is node_modules/tinymce. How can I automate the installation of this plugin which doesn't seem to be a node module?
