Reading out data from .js file functions

I have a following problem: I have .js file with a function which basically does calculations based on the position of scrollers. Inside the .js file there's a function do_calc(); which updates results of calculations and there are a lot of parameters such as:

        var start_remaining_mileage = Math.round(start_remaining_battery_power / average_vehicle_efficiency * 100);

    jQuery('#res_start_remaining_mileage').text(start_remaining_mileage);

I have a hard time figuring out how to read out these variables in my .jsp page. Probably there's some function for that, but I tried like 10 different methods and nothing works. Everything's set right in header file and so on. Maybe you know some function that would help me? Thank you!

In addition, I'm trying to recreate something like on this website when you choose car and you see how much time it takes to charge it. I want values on my page to be updated in the similar way.
