Estaba trabajando en hacer un tema oscuro para mi sitio web. Escribí este código.

 var elems = document.body.querySelectorAll("*"); elems.style.backgroundColor = "black"; elems.style.color = "white";

y obtuve este molesto error:

 script.js:3 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting 'backgroundColor')

Estoy usando Microsoft Edge.
