Prtime-ng keyfilter not working as expected

I need to restrict user from entering special characters and negative values in input text box. User should be allowed to enter values upto 2 decimal places. How can achive the same using keyfilter directive with custom attribute. Prime-ng version is 8.

<input class="input" pInputText pKeyFilter="pnum" [disabled]="disabled" [(ngModel)]="data.input.value"
(change)="inputOnChanges()" >
