How to create "flattened" router hierarchy in nuxt/vue.js router?

In Nuxtjs (latest 2.x.x version), I need to generate a routing hierarchy that will be "flattened". By that I mean that I have this file/folder hierarchy in the pages folder of a Nuxt project:

/ pages
  / article
    _slug.vue

This will create as expected a route like this:

mysite.com/article/title-of-the-great-article

However, I need to get rid of the subfolder in the URL and need to generate a dynamic route like this:

mysite.com/article-title-of-the-great-article-3245

Notice that I would like to add also an "id" parameter and ideally any kind of parameters to the generated routes that are "flattened" like that.
