¿Hay Javascript para detectar si un dispositivo está usando iOS y, de ser así, eliminar un elemento específico del DOM?

Tengo un banner que tiene una altura de aproximadamente 450 px y tiene una imagen de fondo configurada como adjunto de fondo: fijo. Sé que no funciona en iOS, así que me preguntaba si había alguna manera de usar JS para detectar si la página web se está ejecutando en iOS y, de ser así, ¿puede simplemente eliminar el elemento del DOM? Aquí está mi código:
