Record selected and unselected answer choices in Qualtrics MC question with Javascript

Forgive me for the novice questions. I know zero Javascript and am completely new to this forum. I am trying to accomplish a few things with my Qualtrics survey but can't write the code on my own. My Qualtrics survey has MC questions with 10 answer options that participants can only click one of.

  1. I want to record the answer choice that a participant clicks for a multiple choice question, because on a following page, I want to show all the displayed answer choices again but change the style (border color) of only the selected choice.

  2. I want to randomly select 2 of the first 5 answer choices (excluding the clicked one if it's in the top 5), and I want to do the same thing for each one at a time; change the border color on subsequent pages of the survey for just this choice.

  3. Not necessary, but ideally, I would like to make a slider style question appear alongside the chosen answer choice and the two random non-chosen ones on their respective pages.

Can anyone help me with the JS code to attain this? I have no idea where to start.
