Component not updating in test with Jest

I'm writing a test that checks if a component is rendered after it's prop is updated to true. When I console the mock store the "isSearchOpen" indeed has true but the component is not being rendered. I have the component itself wrapped in an i18n Provider since the app uses translations. I'm so lost.

  it("Renders open if isSearchOpen is true", () => {
    updateMockStore(component, "searchReducer", "isSearchOpen", true);
    console.log(mockstore.debug())//Shows the prop "isSearchOpen" set to true.
    console.log(component.find(".isOpen").debug()); //Shows nothing
    expect(component.find(".isOpen").length).toBeTruthy();
  });
