I've got a react application which is using cordova. The application is required to run from web browser and also cordova build application.

The application currently uses window.location.replace to redirect to other internal pages on certain events. However this doesn't seem to be working within the cordova application but works find in the browser.

Can anyone please advise on how to redirect in cordova?

I have tried:

document.location = url
window.location.href = url

I have also tried to create dyanmic link and click it to see if I can work around it but still now luck:

 var a = document.createElement('a').href = '/#/dashboard';
            document.body.appendChild(a);
            a.click();
            return;
