Unrealistically high page views in Adsense due to 3rd party code?

We use Revive Adserver to display Adsense banners. This is an ad serving system that lets us run other campaigns besides Adsense banners.

Before using Revive Adserver we displayed Adsense banners directly the way we do now, 3-4 banners would appear on a page. It didn't affect Adsense page views earlier.

However when the banners are served from the ad serving system, page views get significantly higher in Adsense statistics.

This is how the invocation code looks like for a zone:

  <ins data-revive-zoneid="9" data-revive-id=“xxxxxxxxxxx”></ins>

    <script async src="//adserver.webpage.com/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script>

This is what calls the Adsense code.

Also we serve the banner from a subdomain (adserver.webpage.com), however we display the banner on webpage.com. I don't know if this is something that might cause this issue.

Do you have any idea what could possibly cause the page views increase in Adsense?
