JSDoc con tsd-jsdoc para funciones de orden superior tiene una salida incorrecta

Estoy usando este comando npm para crear tipos desde jsdoc:

 "build-types": "jsdoc -t node_modules/tsd-jsdoc/dist -r src -d ./dist"

Para esta función:

 /** * * @param {number} a * @returns {function(number): number} */ const add = a => b => a + b;

la salida en tipos.d.ts es:

 declare function add(a: number): (...params: any[]) => any;

en lugar de lo esperado:

 declare function add(a: number): (arg0: number) => number;

¿Hay algo que estoy haciendo mal en mi configuración?
