Working on a bio-mapping system for the web using Google Maps. I need to colour each 1Km grid square based on the Irish Grid map system which are populated by a given species based on a 9-10 digit grid reference. Can someone suggest an example of how to achieve this? This answer on Stack Exchange gives me clues but an example would go a long way to getting me started. Not much experience at this level with maps.
