How do I define 'document.documentMode' for the global window interface in TypeScript?

How do I define document.documentMode for the global window interface in TypeScript? My Code is for detecting Internet Explorer browser.

  • My Code
const isIE = /*@cc_on!@*/ false || !!document.documentMode;

I think this error is related to documentMode, so I tried to change the document type to string, document, etc., but it is still not solved.

  • Error Message
Property 'documentMode' does not exist on type 'Document'. Did you mean 'DOCUMENT_NODE'?ts(2551)
