Getting URL Params using FTL in NetSuite

I am trying to access the value of a search filter in a Search Based Advanced PDF/HTML Print Template. I have attempted using ${RequestParameters.Transaction_TRANDATEto} but RequestParameters is null or empty.... Anyone have any success some other way?
