I've inherited a site with a lot of messy code and I'm trying to clean it up and get the site working correctly. Currently the anchor links don't seem to work on first load, and only on desktop. Unfortunately I'm under pressure to get this fixed and I don't seem to be able to find a reason for this. It is a mystery and I'm hoping brilliant minds could look at the site and find a reason why. When you go to the page and load it, the anchor link doesn't work. If you click off and back onto that link again, it seems to work. I'm trying to remove all the code from the page to try to figure out where it is having an issue. Does anyone know a way I could figure out the problem faster?
